• Assignment & Schedule Data – such as games you are assigned to, roles you perform (referee, timekeeper, umpire, etc.), locations, dates, and times.
• Payment & Pay Stub Data – such as information related to game payments, pay stubs, and payment history associated with your account.
• Usage Information – such as device information, IP address, and basic analytics about how you use the app or website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate you and provide secure access to the app and web portal.
• Display your game assignments, crews, pay stubs, and related information.
• Support league and tenant administrators in scheduling and managing referee assignments.
• Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates.
• Maintain and improve the SimbaRef service and user experience.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

SimbaRef may offer auto-renewing subscription plans that are billed through Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Payment processing and billing information are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s terms and policies.

Subscription status may be associated with your account so that we can determine your access to premium features.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our web portal may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and improve the service. You can adjust your browser settings to limit or disable cookies, but some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

You may request that we update or correct your account information by contacting us. If you are using SimbaRef through a league or tenant, some data may be managed by that organization’s administrator.

If you wish to stop using SimbaRef, you may request that your account be deactivated. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

SimbaRef is intended for use by leagues, organizations, and adult referees. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of those changes.
